It's been quite a while since we've done one of these! We've got to the point where each individual job isn't very big, so we haven't bothered documenting them.

However we've accumulated quite a few jobs since the last update! Bim bam let's go

## Outside!

A lot has changed on the outside of our house. We got some masonry people in to redo our front wall, which was falling down. They took the unoriginal bits off, stabilised the lower course, then added a few courses of Bath stone.

We got some different people in to redo the patio, the back stair treads, and replace the back fence which had all but fallen down since the last update.

We chose a porcelain tile as these would be very hardwearing, but most of all, they would be flat (a feature previously missing). The pennant stone which was lifted would be distributed elsewhere in the garden. There wasn't an awful lot there that wasn't broken or missing and replaced with concrete so it would have been expensive to restore like-for-like.

Everything was going really well, until they tried taking the treads off our stairs. The stairs came with them. We didn't want a slide, so we had to get our Front Wall Friends back again to help rebuild them out of Bath stone.

We got some outdoor furniture! This was a wedding present from Ozzy's parents, which was a garden furniture voucher but they'd forgotten to add the expiration date.

Most recently, we had our local ironmongerers in to install new railings at the front, and restabilise the back stair railing. We've just painted these so they'll be rust-free for a while. In the spring, we'll get some more plants for the bed in front of them.
